Your RS Store Website comes with a number of customizable features to let you make your website unique and fit your "brand".To edit your style, select “Website Style” from the Site Admin dropdown menu. Once selected, the following dialog box will be displayed on the screen.

COLOR SCHEME

Your website comes with 23 pre-defined colors to choose from or you can select your own custom color (Be sure to not select a color that is too light or too dark, it may make it difficult to read text that appears on that color). You also should make sure to pick a color that is ADA safe. ADA stands for Americans with Disabilities Act. To minimize the chances of you being sued for not having an ADA compliant website you should make sure that the color you choose is ADA compliant for this website. Standard colors that are ADA safe are labeled as such. You will be notified that the color you chose is ADA Safe or NOT. To learn more about ADA Compliance go to  ADA Compliance.

• To use a pre-defined color, click on a color once to select it.
• To create a custom color, click on the "Custom Color" square. In the color picker, click and drag your curser to the desired color and then click select. You can also enter an exact RGB or HEX code to obtain the correct color.
• Click “Save”once you've chose a color.

LAYOUT STYLE

Your website come with 2 layout styles; Fixed Width & Full-Width. A fixed Width layout keeps your webpage the same width no matter how big the browser window is and also allows for a repeating background image (see website background). A full-width layout extends headers and menu bars to the edge of the browser window and does not show any background image.

• Click on the Fixed Width or Full-Width button to select the style.
• Click “Save”once you've chose a style.

MENU STYLE

Your website come with 2 menu styles; Standard Menu & Mega Menu (default). A Standard Menu displays one vertical list of sub-menu pages with "fly-out's" for additional sub-menu pages. Only one sub-menu will be displayed at a time. A Mega Menu layout offers a multiple column layout which allows for all sub-menu's to be visible at the same time, which can make navigation easier for the user.

• Click on the Standard Menu or Mega Menu button to select the style.
• Click “Save”once you've chose a style.

MENU COLUMNS WIDTH (Only applies when using the Mega Menu)

You have the ability to set the number of columns used to display each item in your menu that contains a sub-menu (i.e. Pack & Ship > FedEx Shipping). If you have a menu item that contains many sub-menu's, it might be easier for the user to navigate if the long list of sub-menu's was split into more columns.

• Click on the dropdown for each menu item to select the number of columns.
• Click “Save”once you've chosen a column number for each item.

WEBSITE BACKGROUND (Only applies when using the Fixed Width layout style)

Your website come with a number of preloaded background images and patterns. You can also upload your own background image.

• Click on an image to select it and preview it within the pop-up window.
• Click on the "Upload Your Own Image" to open the file upload dialog. Click on the "Add Background Image" button or Drag and Drop a file to the area provided to upload an image.
• Click “Save”once you've chosen a background.
