Page SEO Settings

Every page on your RS Store Website has a number of specfic setting that can be change or adjusted. They are broken into 4 sections; Link Setup, Page Properties, Page SEO and Advanced Settings. To manage these settings, select “Page/Menu Management ” from the Site Admin dropdown menu. From the Tree Menu on the left, click on the page name you would like to edit and the settings will appear to the right. Instructions for Page SEO (Search Engine Optimization) are below.

PAGE TITLE SECTION

Page Titles for all standard pages that come with your RS Store Website have already been professionally written and optimized. The Page Title Keyword Phrase field and the Page Title Tag (Auto-Created) field display what the page currently has for a Page Titletag. However, if you wish to make changes you may.

  • In the Page Title Tag field, remove the text "", this will allow you to override the first two entry fields which represent the defualt settings.
  • In the Page Title Tag field, you can now enter you own custom Page Title.
  • Click the "Update Page" button at the bottom of the page to save your changes.
  • Click the "Close" button when finished with your changes.

META DESCRIPTION SECTION

Meta Descriptions for all standard pages that come with your RS Store Website have already been professionally written and optimized. The Meta Description Keyword Phrase field and the Page Meta Description (Auto-Created) field display what the page currently has for a Meta Description tag. However, if you wish to make changes you may.

  • In the Page Meta Description field, remove the text "", this will allow you to override the first two entry fields which represent the defualt settings.
  • In the Page Meta Description field, you can now enter you own custom Meta Description.
  • Click the "Update Page" button at the bottom of the page to save your changes.
  • Click the "Close" button when finished with your changes.

META KEYWORD

  • In the Meta Keyword Tag box, you can enter keywords (separated with a comma), however this practice is NOT RECOMMENDED.
  • Click the "Update Page" button at the bottom of the page to save your changes.
  • Click the "Close" button when finished with your changes.
