Homepage Banner Management

Your RS Store Website comes with 70+ pre-designed Rotating Banners for use on your homepage. Also, you can create your own rotating banners with our built-in banner editor. To add/remove/edit banners, select “Homepage Rotating Banners” from the Site Admin dropdown menu. Once selected, the following dialog box will be displayed on the screen.

NOTE:

We recommend that you use 3 rotating banners. In no circumstances should you have more than 5 rotating banners.
The first banner should be the one that you want all your site vistors to see. Statistics show that the first banner will get over 80% of the clicks and any banners past 5 will almost never be seen. Having too many banners will cause your home page to be slow to load.

No matter how many banners you specify, the system will only display the first 10.

  • To change the order in which the banners will be displayed on the homepage, use the “Up” or “Down” buttons next to the entry you want to move.
  • Click on the “Close” button when your changes are complete.
  • To add a new banner to the rotation, click on the “Add Banner” button.
  • To edit an existing banner, click on the pencil icon next to that person.
  • To delete an existing banner, click on the red “X” icon next to that person.
